The Fourstroke 01 has thrown out the XC rulebook. Designed to give you every competitive edge, this innovative full-suspension race bike utilizes a legion of ground-breaking features that reduce your lap times and keep you feeling fresher for the finish line. The frame is crafted from lightweight 01 Premium Carbon with a new, super-light carbon upper link that saves weight and provides a robust connection between the front and rear triangles. Its all-new, progressive geometry is ideal for charging technical XC descents and has our BMC MTB Team raving because they know that they’ve got an ace up their sleeves.
With the world’s first integrated XC dropper post, the Race Application Dropper (RAD) dramatically reduces weight while delivering the optimum riding position, both uphill and down. APS dual-link suspension technology allows you to pedal efficiently, brake hard, and charge rough terrain without compromise. An integrated fork stopper protects the frame from impacts and allows a straight downtube design for improved stiffness and weight. For improved durability and a clean look, the frame features molded plastic covers on the chainstay and lower link. Keeping racers and mechanics happy, end-to-end guided cable routing plus cable entry covers provide hassle-free installation, reduced maintenance, and additional frame protection. In short, the Fourstroke 01 is designed to dominate cross-country race courses, from the World Cup level to your local series.
