High-Quality Bearing Cups The bearing cups of the C-BEAR bearings are not made of plastic, but of CNC precision-machined aluminium. C-BEAR committed itself to an anti-plastic posture very early on, in 2011/2012, when plastic additives were just coming into fashion. Metal housings mean higher accuracy, lower tolerances and the avoidance of flex and deformation.
